Well, we've decided we've been away from our blog too long....and boy, things sure have changed since that last post.
I'm 2 now ---- so, I'm pretty much ready to move out on my own, but I know Mommy & Daddy would miss me too much, so I think I'm going to stay a little while longer.
I'm keeping myself busy this summer...I've had a blast going to festivals, the lake, the ocean and playdates! I promise I'll try to update my blog more often this time!
I'm talking a lot more...my favorite words & phrases are: "Okay", "I got this", "Mama, what's this?" "Tea Party", "I do it myself." And, I LOVE to sing...my favorite song is "Twinkle, Twinkle little Star."

On our way home from Washington, DC, we stopped at a McDonald's....and it was so much fun because it had a play area. Mommy let me crawl around and play --- and I even made a friend! His name was Nicholas and he was 2 1/2 years old, he kept trying to show me how to crawl up the play tunnels! I couldn't do it, but I had so much fun watching him!

So, in April my G-Mama, Mommy & me went to Washington, DC to watch my Uncle Jake get sworn into the Foreign Service. He'll be going to Juarez, Mexico in December. I've switched all my toys over to Spanish so that I can talk to other kids when I go to visit him. I am so proud of him! Here's a picture of us right after the ceremony!

So, in March I went to Arizona with my Mommy & Daddy ---- we had such a good time! And, I got to meet alot of my cousins & see my Great Uncles & Aunt! I even went with my Cousin Kathy to see Jessica Simpson! I must say, it was a whirlwind vacation. I had a great time and I think I did pretty well on the airplane...in fact, Daddy said I was better on the plane than Mommy. She kept freaking out about everything...luckily she had to worry about me, so it kept her busy. I can't wait to go out and visit again!

It's been so warm & sunny here lately, that Mommy & I decided to go to the playground at the park the other day. It is a really big playground that has swings just for me! It was my very first time on the swings --- and I have to tell you --- I think I'm a natural. Just like my Daddy, I'm a natural athlete. Mommy says that we're going to go to the park at lot this summer! I'm so excited!

Grandma Arnold came to visit me the other weekend ---- and I loved it! Ofcourse, she brought me presents! :) I got lots of attention that weekend...but Earl got a little jealous of me, so Grandma had to give us both love...isn't Earl silly??

Guess what my crazy Auntie Lizzie did for her birthday?!?! She came all the way from Floriday to visit me! It was so much fun to see her! We did so much --- we played, shopped & went swimming! We had a birthday party for her at my house and the Greens (plus Justin!) came over. She got sick the last day she was here, but she still gave me lots of love! I love my Auntie Lizzie and I miss her very much!

Sorry I haven't been blogging lately...Daddy was out of town and then when he finally came back...Mommy & I got sick! Apparently my friend Liam got sick at Daycare and then got all of us at the playdate sick...even our Mommies! So, I'm taking a swim class at the Y on Thursday mornings. I'm the youngest (and cutest, but that's a given) in my class. My friend Carson takes the class with me and sometimes the pool is too cold for him ---- but never for me! Mommy says I'm getting so good...I still don't like to be on my back, but I am getting good at the belly thing. My teacher's name is Miss Joy and I really like her. She lets me pick out whichever toy I want...I always choose the ducky because it's head fits perfectly into my mouth.

I got to see the coolest fish tank ever today ---- there was a blue crab/lobster fishy and a phone in the tank!! I loved it! Daddy says that when I'm a big girl we can get a fish tank for home and he's gonna let me pick out whatever fishies I want! I can't wait!

Well, it's official...I took another step towards "big girlhood". Today, my Daddy installed my biggie girl car seat...and let me tell you....it's the best thing since my Baby Einsteing Exersaucer. It's so roomy and comfy...and I can see out the window! My G-Daddy drove behind us on our way to dinner and he said he could see me through the back window!

Well, I gotta go because Mommy is crying and mumbling something about her baby girl growing up too fast. (Sigh) Moms....are they all this goofy?!?!

Mommy, Daddy & I went to our old house in South Bend to drop some keys off and make sure we got everything out of our old house. It seemed so big and empty...especially in the great room...so Mommy HAD to get my picture in the room. She said I looked like a cute little red blob. Cute, yeah, I'm definately that, but red blob...I don't think so.

On Thursday night, we went over to Aunt Rose's house for dinner and to visit Chuck, Christina, Elena & Charlie! They were in town visiting for a few days! It was so much fun. Well, I'm only a little over 6 months old...but I already have so many friends! A couple months ago, I met my new Ft. Wayne friends...Carson, Liam & Sara! They are only a couple of months older than me. We usually have playdates once a week...and our Moms like it because they get to eat warm food and socialize with each other! I have fun because there are always so many new toys to play with!

Is right on my Daddy! I love cuddling with my Daddy ---- he gives the best hugs! Weekends are my very favorite because he is home all day long and he always spends lots of time with me. Sometimes, Mommy goes back to bed and Daddy & I hang out....I really love doing that! Sometimes we play, sometimes we watch ESPN....but we always have fun!

Guess what?! I'm big enough to sit in the grocery cart now when I go to the store with Mommy & Daddy. I love going shopping with them ---- everyone stops to tell Mommy & Daddy how cute I am. Duh, that's obvious.

I have so much fun & there is so much to see. I like to help Daddy pick out which yogurt he should get. I also have this little cart cover that I sit in and it has toys for me to play with in case I get bored.

I am pretty excited to be able to help Mommy & Daddy shop now....hmmm...maybe now I need my own credit card.

Growing like a weed...

So, today, Mommy & I went to see my Dr. today for my 6 month appointment. I'm growing so much...Mommy doesn't know how much longer she'll be able to carry me! I'm in th 60th percentile in height ---- 26 inches (Mommy thinks I'm really longer than that because my cloth diapers don't let me lie flat!) and I'm still off the charts in weight ----- pushing 20 lbs!!!!

Everything is going well and the Doctor says I'm looking good. I don't have to go back until I'm 9 months...and I won't have to get shots then!! Which is good, because I need a break from shots!

Can you believe it....today I turned 6 months old! Mommy says time sure does fly with me...I think that's a good thing! Mommy & Daddy say I'm getting so big....I can sit by myself, I am talking alot and I'm starting to try and eat solids. I say try because I'm not really liking them...I don't see why I can't just have Mommy's milk for the rest of my life.

The past 6 months have been the best months of my life!!!!!!!!

I have a kitty named Earl & he is my very best friend. He also comes & sits next to me when I play with my toys and he LOVES when I pet him. My Uncle Josh brought his doggy Sampson to my house to spend Christmas Eve with us. He is such a big doggy...but he's really nice! He played with Neyland outside...well, eventually, at first, I think Neyland wasn't in the mood to play. Sampson drools alot after he drinks, but I think he is really funny & he makes me smile. :)

I got to see my Uncle Jake again and this time I got to meet Uncle Kenny! They are crazy....they let me play with anything I wanted AND they helped me walk. In no time, I'm going to be walking on my own. I think they definately like me better than my sister T, because T ate the Christmas goodies on Christmas Day!!! They also watched WonderPets with me...I had never seen it...and it is soooo cool. Uncle Jake can sing all the words to all the songs. He's so smart!

Mommy says that when I'm big enough, we get to go to NYC and visit them. I wanna meet Suri...I bet all the paparazzi will think I'm cuter!!

I got to see my Auntie Lizzie again...and we had so much fun. She stayed & played with me alot. She taught me how to play the "slots" with my Baby Einstein Exersaucer. And Auntie Lizzie says gambling makes everything a lot more fun! For some reason, she has nicknamed me Poopie Pants...and it makes me laugh everytime I hear it! I miss my Auntie Lizzie...but she says I can come and visit her whenever I want....she even said I could come down and see her when I go on Spring Break in 18 years!! I had such a great first Christmas...I was spoiled by everyone! On Christmas Eve, Grandma Arnold & Uncle Josh came to stay and boy, did they bring me a lot of presents. Uncle Josh got me some things that light up and sings songs...in fact, Mommy says I'm not allowed to play with my Elmo Radio before 8am...she just can't handle it...and I think that's why Uncle Josh bought it for me. I love it!

Grandma Arnold bought me some really fun stuff...but I think my favorite is the ring stacker. I have so much fun taking the rings off and trying to eat them. I think that has become one of my favorite toys!! I can't wait until Grandma Arnold can come over & play it with me!!

On Christmas Day, I got to together with the Gosherts, Greens & Monteith ---- there were alot of them there ---- and I got more presents!! I got books, a swim suit & swim diapers, a teddy bear & and a PONY!!!!!!!!! It's not a real pony, but it's so much fun to ride. It sings songs & makes noises...and it's pink!!!!!

My Beverly spoiled me....AGAIN. She made me my very own stocking ---- it's pink & says my name!!! I was so excited to pull gifts out of it on Christmas morning ---- although I think I had more fun pulling the paper out of it! She also got me my very own Ornament...it says PRINCESS. So, Mommy & I joined a Mom's Group ---- and we've made lots of new friends! We've started having playdates every week. Mommy & I really look forward to them. I'm the youngest one of the group, but the other Mommies tell me I hold my own --- I'm bigger than the 2 boys and they're over 2 months older than me!! :)

We have so much fun when we play together...and it's so much fun to play with all of their toys! I nap super hard on playdate days...they wear me out!

Last weekend, we went to 2 family Christmas parties! And Daddy was originally only going to be able to go to one of them because he was going out of town for work ---- but, luckily his trip was cancelled so he got to go to both parties with me.

Everyone was so excited to see me, it was a little overwhelming, but Mommy said I did a good job.

At the Arnold Christmas party, Santa even showed up! I made Mommy go with me when I sat on his lap! He brought me a present!!

Then, at the Thompson Christmas party, I got more presents! It was so much fun!

So, I met my new Doctor on Friday and she was very nice! I really liked her. Both my Mommy & my Daddy went with me to my 4 month appt. Daddy even left work early! I got 2 shots...I did very well and only cried a little.

I'm getting so big --- I was in the 75 percentile for height and off the charts for my weight (I'm pushing 17.5 pounds) I get to start eating solids in 2 months. YAHOO!!! Watch out world, here I come!

So, I have this new toy...the jumperoo. And boy, do I love it! Whenever I make it jump, it plays songs and lights up. I think Daddy is already sick of all the songs! I went to G-Daddy's work on Thursday and I got to visit Beverly! I love Beverly...she spoils me...ALOT. She has made me blankets (TONS of them ---- and I LOVE them!), crib sheets, booties, sweaters...you name it, she makes it for me! This time, when I was visiting her, I grabbed her hair and wouldn't let go...my Mommy doesn't have long hair like that, so I had to get my hands on it! But, that's okay, Beverly still loves me! :) And I love her!!

Today, Mommy & I went to her old work to say HELLO to everyone. It was so much fun to see all the people that Mommy use to work with. I really liked everyone...and I impressed them with all of my talents. Peggy was impressed that I could spit my pacifier into the trash!

I got to meet my Great MoMo Ruth for the first time ---- she is one of Mommy's favorite people! She is a 2 time President of the EGH Auxiliary & she gave me my pink bouncy seat that I love! Mommy says that when I'm a better car traveler, we'll go visit Great MoMo Ruth at her house and visit PJ & Boomer ----- her cute doggies! This was my first Halloween ever...I was SUPER BABY (I know, not much of a stretch from my everyday life!) My Uncle Jake & Uncle Ken got me the outfit when my Mommy was pregnant. I didn't go trick or treating around the neighborhood, I stayed home and helped Mommy pass out candy. I did go trick or treating at Aunt Rose & Uncle Mike's house ---- and I got a toy & my picture taken with BATMAN. When I download thoses photos, I'll post them!!!

Aren't my Daddy & I two peas in a pod? The other day, I was wearing my "I love Daddy" onsie and Mommy just had to get our picture together. I love my Daddy very much ---- he likes to brag that he is 2nd on my most favorite people list (Mommy takes that prize ofcourse!!) He is funny...he sings me silly songs about the Battle of New Orleans and Old Hickory...I have no idea what the heck he is singing about, but it's funny and makes me laugh!

He works hard so that Mommy & I can stay at home together...which I appreciate because Mommy helps me do alot, like keep this blog updated!!

I got to see my Uncle Josh again this weekend....I hadn't seen him since I was about a month old! He is an electrician (Union ofcourse...IBEW Local 153 REPRESENT!) and works in Buffalo, New York right now....I'm sad that he is always there but excited because he is making money and can buy me lots of Christmas presents!!!!!!!! I'm putting a big list together!! And I've been a very good girl!

We went to watch my Daddy play softball and had lunch at Grandma Arnold's house...Mom took a couple of pictures of us together...I'd have to say we have the good looking genes...don't you agree?

The whole reason Mommy & I went on our big vacation last weekend was to help my Great Great Aunt Blanche celebrate her 98th birthday! Can you believe she & I have almost a century between us ---- alot of things can change in 100 years!

We had a party for her on Sunday and I wore one of my prettiest dresses...and everyone told me how pretty I was. It was so exhausting being the center of attention that I slept for most of the party. But, Mommy said I did a great job ---- everytime Blanche talked to me, I smiled and that made her day.

I'm posting some pictures from the trip....and one of them is a 4 generation photo....it has me, my Mom, my Grandma Goshert and my Great Great Aunt Blanche....aren't we a beautiful bunch.

I got to meet my Uncle Jake for the first time this weekend! He lives all the way in New York City. I had a lot of fun with him ---- we watched Diego on TV and played alot. I was going to go home with him, but Mommy told me she would miss me too much. He said he is coming home for Christmas, so I'll get to see him again soon. He bought me a caterpillar that plays music, counts and teaches me colors.

I got to meet my Mommy's friend Katie this weekend. Katie is in Med School in Tennessee. We went and watched her flag football team practice. She even skipped the last part of practice and hung out with me and Mom under the tree. But, her coach didn't mind because he's her boyfriend! He was nice too!
We went to eat and Katie took care of me so that Mommy could eat ---- apparently I cryed myself hoarse while we were outside! Katie is really nice --- she got me my very first Glo-Worm...it sings lullabies. I played with it during the drive home.

While on vacation, my Mom and I stopped by Knoxville to visit my Mommy's friend Allison. We had so much fun, Allison made my Mommy's favorite --- Spaghetti casserole! Mom had 2 servings...even my Grandma Goshert loved it! They have a doggy named Neyland too....and he looks alot like my Neyland.

I really liked Auntie Allison ---- she bought me presents ----- including a super cute green dress that Mommy is sooo excited for me to wear.

I got to meet MJ ---- he'll be a year old next month and Allison is his mommy. My Mommy & Allison are secretly planning our wedding. He is very handsome, even Grandma Goshert said so, so I'll keep an open mind. :)

Mommy can't believe how fast I'm growing! I was 2 months old on Wednesday!! I had to go to the doctor for my shots --- and I did really well. Mommy was so proud and she was a little worried that I would cry and cry...but nope, not me! I'm up to 13 pounds 13 ounces and 23 inches long...I'm going to be bigger than my Mommy soon!

As you know, we're moving to Ft. Wayne ---- Daddy is already there and living in a "bachelor pad" (at least that is what Mom calls it!) Well, Mommy and I will be joining him soon ---- they made an offer on a house and it has been accepted!!! YEAH!!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see my Daddy everyday!!

So, mom took me to get my 1 month photos @ the mall. Boy, that was an overwhelming trip and I'm not too sure what I think about getting my pictures taken. The picture lady kept trying to get mom to do an "outfit change" and mom said "Nope, we had enough!" Thank goodness for mom! I was ready to go!!!

At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about bath time...but mom has gotten better at it. She makes sure the bathroom is really warm, so I never get goosebumps! I'm starting to enjoy it ---- it's the getting out part that I'm not a big fan of.

But, once she has me all wrapped up --- I'm much happier. Grandma snapped this picture of me --- I'm in my towel from mom's friend Megan!! I love it!!!!!

Can you believe I'm a month and 2 days!!! Time sure does fly when you're having fun! :)

Mom can't believe how fast I'm growing....she thinks I have a future as a Competitive Eater! Lately, that's all I want to do! At my 1 month doctor's appt. I was up to 10 pounds, 12 ounces...I gained 2 pounds since my last appt!!! I'm in the 90th percentile for weight & 75% for height! I think I'm going to be bigger than my mom by the time I'm in kindergarten!!! :)

Whew! Mommy & I went to Ft. Wayne to visit Daddy & look for houses. I tried to be patient while looking at houses...but, I got a little fussy. Nothing that mom & dad couldn't handle! :)

But, mom says next time they go to to look at houses, I get to stay with Aunt Rose...and I'm excited about that because Aunt Rose will hold me & spoil me!

Anyways, daddy and I were so worn out we had to sneak in a nap. I think we make a pretty good looking pair...what do you think??

I had more visitors...and, ofcourse, they thought I was adorable! Mr. Priebe and Mrs. Priebe always fight over me ---- Mr. Priebe sure is good at rocking me to sleep. Mom grabbed a shot of us before I fell asleep!

Cousin Vicki came all the way from Ohio to see me....and she held me so mom could get some stuff done around the house. Mom says that Vicki can hold me anytime because her perfume rubs off on me and I smell so pretty!

Boy, I had a busy weekend ---- visitors galore! My Auntie Lizzie came to visit me all the way from Florida...she is so much fun! I love her! She spoils me rotten! Then, my Aunt Lee Ann and Great Aunt Beth came to see me too ---- and mom's cousin Kellee and her family came to visit! It was so much fun! Everyone thought I was too cute ---- which is true!!!

I had my 2nd doctor's appointment last Thursday ---- and mommy is so excited because I'm gaining weight like a champion! At my 1 week appointment I was 7 lbs. 9 oz....well, at my 2 week appointment I was 8 lbs. 12 oz.....I must love to eat!! Or it might be all the Texas Sheet Cake mom has been eating!

My mommy and daddy say I am becoming such a big girl --- I'm more alert and awake than ever! And they have a feeling I'll be an early crawler, I'm super active and very strong!

I'm off to play with daddy --- he's home for the weekend ---- YEAH!!!!

Well, I did it....I finally made my grand entrance into this world and I can say, I sure did it in dramatic fashion!!! But, really, did anyone expect me to do it differently?!

Mom went into labor @ 2:20 am on Wednesday, July 16th. Since daddy lives in Ft. Wayne during the week, Grandma Goshert was staying with my mom and helping her out. She had to talk my mom into going to the hospital!!! Daddy got the call and drove home and made it in time to help mom get checked into the hospital.

Everything was going great and we all thought (docs and nurses both!) I would be here by midnight...and mom was so excited because they wouldn't let her eat, so she was starving! But, I had other plans. After 2 1/2 hours of pushing, I had not moved at all....and it was getting unsafe for me and mom....so, the doctor came in and told mom and dad to get ready for a C-Section.

Daddy looked so handsome in his scrubs...much hotter than McDreamy or McSteamy. At 1:47 am, on Thursday, July 17th, I finally got to meet my mom and dad. I came out screaming...I definitely have mom's lungs!

I was 8 lbs. .3 oz and 21 1/4 inches long.

I'm a very happy baby and I'm glad to be home! I love all my big brothers and sisters --- even if they are furry and have 4-legs!!

I'll make sure mom keeps this updated as much as possible ---- Aunt Allison has been getting on mommy's case about making a blog, so she promises to try to keep it updated!!
